Demo app for goldencheetah-proxy

This is a demo app that shows what you can build with goldencheetah-proxy. It reads your GoldenCheetah data through a small local proxy and displays it in the browser. Your data never leaves your computer.

  1. Open GoldenCheetah and enable the API:
    Settings → General → Integration → Enable API Web Services
  2. Install the proxy (one time only). You don't need Python or any other tools. The commands below handle everything automatically.

    macOS / Linux – open Terminal and paste:

    curl -LsSf uvx.sh/goldencheetah-proxy/install.sh | sh

    Windows – open PowerShell and paste:

    powershell -ExecutionPolicy ByPass -c "irm https://uvx.sh/goldencheetah-proxy/install.ps1 | iex"
  3. Close your terminal and open a fresh one.
    This is needed so your terminal picks up the newly installed command.
  4. Start the proxy by running:
    goldencheetah-proxy
  5. Click Connect below. The proxy will ask you to approve this website.

All data stays on your machine. The proxy only accepts connections from websites you explicitly approve.
